Rock on, Fellas!

Nice that you guys got out and rode this weekend! I was traveling back from Minnesota, where I'd been for the previous 8 days, visiting friends. I did 2 days of DH skiing, and a day of XC skiing while I was there, as they got dumped on with 8 inches of fresh powder last week. Glas I took my skis, as it was awesome! Great quad, hams, glute and gastractnemous workout! While I don't feel as brave as you guys were, with your being out riding in the woods, my legs were burning afterwords. That's a good sign.

I didn't have a complete MTB bike to ride, so I would have been out on the road if I'd been here. Hope we can all ride our Kings together soon!

Peace - out!

What would I do?

Yesterday, Crispy, Bryan and I road the yellow and blue loops at ILRA. It took us a little over 2 hours, but what a great ride. I have to admit that I was getting a little board and tired of it the last couple miles, but when it was over I was glad we road both loops. Right now as I sit here at my desk staring at this computer monitor, I have decided that I would do just about anything to be out there pushing my bike up those snow covered hills again! Well it’s my break time now, should go nap in the lunchroom for 15 minutes or run the stairs? I putting on my running shoes, I’ll be back in 15!

The Team Gets Faster

Team recieves Mavic Cross Max SL wheels and Six Six One Clothing. Also, the team clothing kits are now in production and will be on display during the Yankee Springs TT, April 17th.

Lately, the team talk has been about what they are building up the new frames with and if they are done yet. I know a couple riders are close, but I have yet to see a King all built up.

The ride today was tough for me. After yesterdays ride and then with todays ride I think I need to eat a whole pizza. I know Jamie & Pete braved the conditions out on the road this morning. Meanwhile Dan, Bryan, & I hit up ILRA, blue & yellow loops. That trail is in great shape. A big thank you to the Snowmobiles for packing it down out there...........-C-

Winter Trail ride on Snow

Crispy, Dan and I hit Island Lake today and rode for about 2 hours. The trail was Awesome with nice packed down snow because of the snowmobiles that run out there. Most of the trail is ridable. A few sections on the yellow loop were tough and we had to push. This old guy put the hurt on the 2 young punks at the end. Must have been that Clif Bar I ate! :)
Well we all know they will be faster then me when it counts. One month until North Carolina! YES! I love riding on the snow but I'm ready for winter to be done. Good ride today boys!

Cold Ride

Me, Crispy, Dan and Justin just finished up a chilly 3 hour ride. Temp was around 22 degrees. We planned on a trail ride through the snow at the tree farm but the snow was just to deep and and tough to ride through. So we hit the road and rail trail instead. I love the looks I know we get from people driving by in their warm cars probably saying to themselves, "those guys are crazy!" Motivates me even more.
Off to shoot a wedding. Just Ride!

Damn, still have not hit the trainer

Well its after 10:00 PM, do you know were your trainer is?
Second day with no workout. Last night I was just to damn tired. In bed by 8:30. I have been sick for over a week. Tonight I had to go shoot sometning, photos for those that don't know I'm a photographer, for the Detroit News at the last minute and I am just getting done sending the photos. Oh well, I'll at least do situps. Training is so hard with my day to day life. Maybe I will post a timeline of a typical day sometime. Good night!

Whadup

Yo team o' bloggers,

just shooting my first blog on the site. I'm up in northern Minnesota for the next 10 days (ugh) and then I'm back home for good. Wish you all some nice weather like we had this past Saturday, hope those kind of days start coming more often. Glad to hear all the team and sponsor stuff starting to gel. Looking forward to coming home, getting my bike built, and riding with y'all.

Take care.

Weekend Riding

Wow! What a beautiful day for riding on Saturday!! Got out and rode 40 miles on HRD - a little wet in places, but a great ride.

Sunday however..............butt-a** cold! Did a frigid 30 miles, and the wind was nasty! I definitely feel like a stonger person having rode yesterday. It ws one of those rides that builds character!

AGGGGHHH, it is so nice out and I want to ride so bad!! To bad I had to stay at home and sort out all the bad ass 611 stuff we just recieved. Oh, I love that company. I can't wait for NC!! I hope I have all my S*&! in order! Thanks for setting this up Bryan!! Can't wait to ride stunts in the spring either. We can work on your training plan this week. -C-

If you want you can update your posts so the time is correct.

Wow early for me!

Hey its 7:30 am on Saturday and I just got off the trainer. Rode for an hour. This is the earliest I have ever jumped on the trainer. I have to work all day and am taking Alice out to dinner and a movie for her borthday.
Don't get me wrong my training still stinks and I will be the slowest one on the team but at least I'm training. I'll still be the fastest downhill though! :)
