Yesterdays ride was just as good as Dan described it and I have to say the Crossmark tires that Maxxis has provided us are fantastic. Everyone is climbing really well with them and while descending you still have that same confidence. Of course having hydraulic discs helps a lot in that department. I cannot stress how much those have helped the sport.

It's still a bit early this morning and just a few of us are up eating breakfast. Today we're going to ride Mt. Mitchell. Weather is supposed to be fairly good but windy :-(. Right now I'm debating on weather or not to but this 12-17 on the back of my road bike. I'll report later on how it went and what I used.
